Mauricio Diaz
President
Mauricio's Bio
As President of The HANOR Company, Mauricio is a visionary leader who guides all facets of the company’s operations. Emphasizing developing and implementing the company’s vision and strategic plan, Mauricio sets ambitious goals, makes decisive executive decisions, and ensures the company’s profitable operation. His passion for agriculture stems from his family’s cattle, coffee, and row crops operations in Honduras. Starting his career in the pork industry at a young age has allowed Mauricio to gain a well-rounded knowledge of live operations and an opportunity to apply that knowledge throughout the various leadership roles he has fulfilled. Mauricio graduated from Zamorano University in Honduras with a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University. Mauricio has been honored to have the opportunity to serve those under his supervision and support them in growing their careers in the pork industry.

Greg Sconyers
Vice President-Sow Production
Greg's Bio
Greg oversees HANOR’s daily business operations and administration of sow operations. His duties include compiling the company’s financial reports, implementing business strategies, and optimizing the organization’s operational capabilities. Greg’s involvement in the pork industry began at a young age, working for a hog farm at thirteen. He later attended the University of Florida, where he worked at the Swine Teaching Unit and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Upon graduation, he joined a pig genetic company as a Management Trainee, Project Director, and Production Manager. Greg joined the HANOR Company in 1994 serving as a Farm Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Director of Sow Production before accepting his current role. Outside of the office, Greg enjoys serving his community and churches.

Jim Moody
Vice President-Finish and Marketing
Jim's Bio
Jims leads HANOR’s Finish and Marketing sector’s daily business operations and administration. Jim utilizes comprehensive company financial reports to implement business strategies and optimize operational capabilities. Under Jim’s leadership, HANOR’s wean-to-market sector has grown to produce over 1.8 million head marketed annually. He began his career in the pork industry at the Pig Improvement Company (PIC) managing the Western U.S. Supply Chain. Jim has developed over 24 years of experience with The HANOR Company. When he is not working, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Deb, their children, and grandchildren.

Joe Bradford
Vice President-Business Development
Joe's Bio
As the Vice President of Business Development. Joe began his career in pork production with the Pig Improvement Company (PIC) in February 1993 in Franklin, Kentucky. He later joined the HANOR company in 1997. Before being promoted to his current position in 2023, Joe served as an IT associate and IT Director. Joe has earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and has become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Outside of work, Joe and his wife enjoy entertaining friends and family, taking long jeep rides, and views of the mountains.

Stefan Winter
Stefan's Bio
As HANOR’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Stefan plays a key role in guiding and steering the financial strategies of the company, overseeing the creation of financial reports and summaries. Stefan has 28 years of experience in the Food and Agriculture sector. Before joining HANOR, he served as a Senior Partner with a leading international management consulting firm, working with many of the world’s largest companies to develop winning strategies and deliver financial improvements. Stefan holds a master’s degree in physics from the University of Mainz, Germany.

Tom Layne
Director of Human Resources
Tom's Bio
Tom has worked in the pork industry for more than 25 years. After proudly serving in the U.S. Army, Tom began his agriculture career with the Pig Improvement Company (PIC) before joining The HANOR Company in 1998. As HANOR’s Director of Human Resources, Tom’s role impacts the company’s 650 employees across six states. His business background and military experience ingrained a deep value for service. When he is not working, Tom enjoys spending time with his family.
